The EQUIP curriculum is unique and is written for the African context. All five (5) module books guide the reader through many of the key topics in the Christian Church. The student is best served by joining a group led by a facilitator.
EQUIP offers a comprehensive approach to nurturing spiritual growth and maturity among believers. Focusing on measurable outcomes, EQUIP aims to guide a believer toward maturity in their faith, a more transformative experience with Christ, and a more fruitful participation in God's Kingdom work. We promote accountability and a holistic understanding of discipleship that goes beyond mere participation to include an intentional pursuit of specific spiritual growth goals and the transformation of individuals into Christ-like disciples.
EQUIP seeks to foster a community of believers who support and challenge each other in their pursuit of spiritual maturity, creating an atmosphere where individuals can thrive and flourish in their faith. Ultimately, we aim to produce disciples who are deeply rooted in their relationship with God, equipped to fulfill their unique calling and purpose in advancing God's kingdom.

EQUIP programme content is crafted to speak directly to the cultural context, concerns, and questions of the African believer while remaining faithful to Biblical principles. It bridges the gap between the timeless truths of the Gospel and the ever-changing cultural landscape, offering insights and perspectives that resonate with the local audience.

Recognized Certification

EQUIP offers a recognized certification upon completion, affirming participants' dedication to their faith journey and ministry preparation. Upon completion of all five modules and fulfillment of all required assessments, students may receive a certificate of “Biblical Training for Ministry” from Re-Forma, underwritten by the World Evangelical Alliance (www.worldea.org). Also, the South African Theological Seminary will award credits for 3 first-year courses for the Bachelor of Theology.

Comprehensive Facilitator Training

The EQUIP programme features a comprehensive facilitator training platform, ensuring that leaders are equipped to effectively guide participants through the course material. Through interactive coaching and resources, facilitators gain the necessary skills and knowledge to create engaging and impactful learning experiences tailored to the diverse needs of their groups.

You can become a facilitator for EQUIP by applying here. Upon approval of your application, training will be completed through this website via video teaching and module assessments.

You can become an EQUIP student by making your Pastor aware of this website and encouraging them to apply to become a facilitator.
